I have been part of Bobby Tariq for almost 7 years now and it has been amazing. From SHSAT to now college, they have supported me throughout. I came here for SHSAT and got into Bronx Science. My sister went here for SHSAT and got a 579 on her exam, enough to qualify her to get into any specialized highschool of her choice. Bobby-Tariq tutoring center is the best tutoring center I've ever been to. As a new immigrant student, English has always been my weakness. When I took SHSAT for the first time, I didn’t do well on the English section and therefore I didn’t get into any of the specialized high schools. I felt very sad and vulnerable until I found that Bobby-Tariq tutoring center offers 9th grade SHSAT prep. I decided to try one more time for myself. Tariq, my teacher for Shasat class, taught me how to improve my reading skills and helped me to get into Brooklyn Tech with a 579 on the second SHSAT. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for all of Tariq’s advice and support, as getting into Brooklyn Tech was indeed a huge turning point in my academic career. Because I really enjoyed my learning experience at this tutoring center, I began SAT prep class in the winter of my junior year. Bobby, my mentor for the SAT class and CAP program, has given me tremendous tips on achieving high scores on SAT and great resources to prepare for college admission. He is such an inspiring teacher and he always encourage us to try our best. I admire Bobby’s work and value everything he has done for me. At the spring of my junior year, I scored a 1530 on the SAT. We started somewhat late, but Tariq really motivated her to work extra hard, while providing phenomenal resources based on years of experience. I went to Bobby-Tariq’s Tutoring center for the March SAT exam. My scores have improved a lot on the practice exams from when I started. Bobby’s techniques and teachings were simple and very effective. He was able to make me understand concepts very easily. The BEAST program was very effective in helping me prepare for the SAT over the summer, as I went from a 1380 at first to a 1550 on the October exam. I learned a lot about the tricks on time management and the reading section specifically.
