SAT Composite Score

  • SAT Composite Score ranges from 400 – 1600 Points.
  • SAT Composite Score indicates how well the students performed in reading, writing, and math.
  • For example: A Composite Score of 1400 on the SAT is an indicator of having strong reading, writing and math skills.

Percentile Score

  • SAT Percentile Score Ranges from 1 to 99+ Percentile.
  • SAT Percentile Score compares a student’s score to all students taking the SAT during high school in USA.
  • For Example: A Percentile Score of 95 basically means the student scored higher than 95% of the Test Takers.

2017 SAT Suite Of Assessments

Approximately 1.7 Million Students Took the SAT in the year of 2017.

According to College Board’s Total Group Report, Students scoring 1400 on the SAT during High School is placed on the 95th Percentile.

Students scoring 1500 on the SAT during High School is placed on the 99th Percentile.

95th Percentile basically means the student scored higher than 95% of High School Students who took the SAT on 11th grade and 12th grade.

99th Percentile basically means the student scored higher than 99% of the students.
