My experience at Bobby Tariq has been great. The teachers were very helpful. They reviewed the materials for the SHSAT, and they try to make you at Stuy level even if you are not that smart. They increase your chances of getting into your dream schools! I'd say its worth it. -Kazi Mihran

I came to Bobby Tariq after failing the 8th grade SHSAT with a 498. I went to his 9th grade SHSAT course and got accepted into Stuyvesant High School with a 578. He is a great tutor and motivator.

Tariq, my teacher for Shasat class, taught me how to improve my reading skills and helped me to get into Brooklyn Tech with a 579 on the second SHSAT. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for all of Tariq’s advice and support, as getting into Brooklyn Tech was indeed a huge turning point in my academic career. Because I really enjoyed my learning experience at this tutoring center, I began SAT prep class in the winter of my junior year. Bobby, my mentor for the SAT class and CAP program, has given me tremendous tips on achieving high scores on SAT and great resources to prepare for college admission. I am a current student of Bobby-Tariq Tutoring center and I would like to say that I’ve been here for 1 1/2 months and I can already see improvement. The first practice test we took was different from the regular Shsat handbooks you can find online. Every Saturday we take a test based on what we have learned or done such as Homework, Classwork, etc. The last 5 days of the Shsat Program are test days which consist of everything we have learned over the summer. The Beast Shsat was such an amazing program this summer. I’ve improved tremendously compared to the first day and have knowledge that I didn’t think I’d ever learn about. The intense work motivated me to do better, and it had great output. Overall, it was a very useful summer course.

Honestly, this helped so much. If I try imagining how I would do without the help on the actual SHSAT test I think I would fail for sure. In my opinion the price is really scary for many brown parents but I think its worth the price,
